Default clip-space depth offset applied to fallback batches: 2^-16 of the
depth range. With the Studio's orthographic projection the depth range is
the padded scene extent, so this is about 1.8 mm on a 116 m scene and 256
quanta of a 24-bit depth buffer -- far above the float32 disagreement
between a prototype AABB face and the target surface it encloses, and far
below anything a bounding-box proxy is expected to resolve.
